What problems does AvailCal solve?

When I pivoted from working as an Application Architect at Calendly to becoming an entrepreneur, I saw my calendar open up in several ways. Specifically, I had many links floating around that allowed people to book time with me. I had a music studio offering tours, and I had a consulting business with links to book time with me. My calendar showed me what had already been booked, but I was never sure when I might be booked.

I built AvailCal to solve these problems:

  1. Knowing when meetings might pop into your calendar, so you can plan accordingly.

  2. Ensuring you're not available when you shouldn't be, preventing double-bookings. Example: when your Calendly account isn't checking that new calendar you recently created.

  3. Making sure you're available when you should be, ensuring that you're not missing any opportunities. Example: did you remember to make that all-day calendar event "free" so that it doesn't block your availability?

  4. Providing peace of mind by allowing you to see that everything is perfect for yourself.

I'm working on the Beta version of AvailCal now and hope to have it in your hands soon! The Beta and MVP product will support Google Calendar and Calendly scheduling. I plan to add more calendars like Microsoft and iCloud, along with other scheduling platforms, in the future.

I'm looking forward to building a great tool for you all to enjoy!

Cheers,

~Brett
